Harley Davidson Electraglide Classic

Why did you choose your Harley Davidson Electraglide Classic?

I've always admired Harley-Davidson's ever since I was little. I ended up interviewing for a Wash Bay position in 2014 at Smoky Mountain Harley-Davidson in Maryville, TN and got it. I've been there ever since although now I work in Marketing. There's just something about the brotherhood that you can't get with any other brand. That and the dealer network are absolutely killer. Seems like there's a dealership in every town.

How did you get into riding motorcycles?
I got into riding when I was about 4 years old. I started on a 70cc Honda dirt bike and I haven't looked back since!

What inspires you to ride?
I'm a big follower of Christ and I believe that the motorcycle world is my mission field. I'm inspired to ride because I can affect people in a positive way. I'm a Harley-Davidson Rider Coach as well, so being able to teach people how to ride and witness to them in some way at the same time is just so dang cool!

Why did you decide to make your Instagram?
Originally it was my personal page. Once I got my Harley, I was uploading nothing but bike pictures. So, I just figured I'd convert it into a page dedicated to my bike and the adventures I take on it. One of the best decisions ever!

What is the best life lesson you've learned from owning/riding a motorcycle?
The best lesson I've learned while riding was actually recent. It was when I broke my leg after I went down practicing some tight u-turns in May of this year. I wasn't able to ride for a few months which hurt, but I was able to experience some amazing things. I got to see a new side of my fiancée that I wouldn't have been able to see if the accident didn't happen. I was able to spend a lot more time with my family. And I ended up getting engaged! It really settled me down a little and I was shown that there's more to life than Instagram and YouTube. Before, I was becoming completely consumed by social media. Now, I know that I can in fact live without it. Whereas before, I couldn't.

Adam Sandoval's Bring It Home Ride

What is the most exciting adventure you’ve taken on your bike?
The most exciting adventure I've been onwas in the late summer of 2019 when I got to ride to Texas with my dad and a friend. We participated in Adam Sandoval's Bring It Home Ride where we broke the world record for the longest continuous parade of Harley-Davidson's. Before we got there, we made a stop in Memphis where we got to tour the Memphis Shades factory. They even let me take over their Instagram to document the event!

What does being a part of the motorcycle community mean to you?
Being a part of the motorcycle community has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. I receive comments and messages all the time from people saying they've started riding because they've been checking out my content. Or they've decided to get a Harley-Davidson because of my content. I've been able to go to places I've never been and meet people I thought I'd never meet by being a part of it all. It blows my mind how awesome bikers are. Regardless of brand, being part of the motorcycle community is something I wish everyone could experience!
