Why did you choose your Harley Davidson Road Glides?
We love the brand that Harley Davidson represents. We wanted to grab touring bikes and run throughout the country. Additionally, we know we’re never too far from a dealership if we needed one for some reason. As we have stopped at these dealers they all have a commons theme of “Family”.
How did you get into riding motorcycles?
Lance started with the motorcycle crowd when his son, Lance Jr., started racing motocross at the age of 5. Lance began his riding days at age 45 and hasn’t stopped since his first Harley. Gaylin began riding at the age of five on minibikes and stayed on dirt until he was 18, when he bought his first street bike, a Yamaha Midnight Maxim 750 cc, and got his first Harley at 45.
How did you guys decide to journey to different states together?
We were weekenders and figured out that we could get a lot of places if we rode 400-600 miles a day. We are attracted to the allure of the adventure of it all: Meeting new People, Small Town Pride, Epic Destinations, and the bonding of a great friendship with ourselves and our wives.
What inspires you to ride and document it?
First, our families inspired us to document our journey and show people our dreams. Second and as we have started the channel, it has been the tremendous amount of comments and interaction with our subscribers. They actually inspire us to ride even more.
You've been to a lot of places, but what was the most exciting adventure you’ve taken on your bikes?
Well, we are always creating great new adventures. We have so many to choose from but one of our recent trips down Route 66 was pretty darn hard to beat.
What does being a part of the motorcycle community mean to you?
It’s one of family, friends, travel, and adventure. It’s also allowing us to live a dream of owning a business related to the community and have the ability to share our passion through various social media outlets. Freedom!!!!
What is the best life lesson you've learned from owning/riding a motorcycle?
Live Life…It’s meant to be lived. We don’t take things for granted, we make things happen and we just live life to its fullest.
